Portable highly sensitive trace and vapour detector L-ION#001 is an advanced device for rapid and reliable detection and identification of microscopic traces of explosives such as RDX, EDGN, NG, TNT, dynamite, cyclonite and improvised explosives based on them.

Applications:
• Border customs checkpoints 
• Baggage and hand luggage inspection at airports, seaports, railway and subway stations 
• Control checkpoints in the embassies, government and public institutions 
• Critical infrastructures (electricity and heating plants, water supply systems, petrochemical plants 
• High security events rate from non-explosive materials.

L-ION#001 uses field asymmetric ion mobility spectrometry technology with laser ionization technology without any radiation sources. Air sampling is performed continuously through the suction nozzle-probe. Owing to its design L-ION#001 may operate in dusty, high volume traffic and humid areas maintaining its accurate performance.

L-ION#001 is easy to use. It doesn’t require any professional training. Presence of explosive vapors in the sample is visually presented on the device’s LCD display.

M-ION can detect and identify wide variety of explosives including pure explosive, composite explosive in vapour mode under different humidity and pressure conditions. A list of explosives includes TNT, RDX, C4, Semtex, PETN, ANFO, EGDN, HMX, Nitroglycerine (NG), Dynamite, DNT, Black Powder and theirs mixtures.

M-ION can detect the same explosives in the particle mode.The napkin from aluminum foil is used for surface wiping.

M-ION is based on Field Asymmetric Ion Mobility Spectrometry.

M-ION doesn’t contain any radiation sources. Corona discharge is used as the ion source. M-ION has two-circuit system of the gas flows: the first for sampling, the second for creation clean and dry the carrier flow. 

M-ION does not need the system of special calibration.

M-ION has a special electrostatic valve for filtering the ions by their polarity. This valve significantly reduces false alarm rate from non-explosive materials.

M-ION is easy to use. It doesn’t require any professional training. Presence of explosive vapors in the sample is visually presented on the device’s LCD display or on any device with Wi-Fi that can work as remote control.

M-ION can be used effectively both indoors and outdoors at plus temperatures.
